Wish You Was With Us

This delightful Christmas card from the 1800s was made in Germany. It shows two children playing in the snow, one obviously having been in a snowball fight. The colors on this postcard are still beautiful after 150 years.

We have restored the image and changed the card to read "I wish you were with us for Christmas." on cards and gifts for purchase through the link to the left.

A Merry Christmas

This 1909 Christmas card features Dogwood blossoms around a snowy winter scene. The Dogwood flower traditionally represents Christ and would have been used as a Christmas symbol in the early 1900s when faith was strong in most homes in North America.

Or, perhaps they are a hint is to get away on a vacation to warmer climates for the holidays!

Merry Christmas Children

Christmas Children

This Victorian image from 1900 was originally on a wooden coaster. It shows children inviting other children out to play in the snow. Notice the hat or bucket on the snowman in the background and the snowball in the little boys hand.

This image was very faded, so we restored it before posting here. We have created a few cards from this image as show below.
