Today, Forest Hill is a community built on the same estate grounds.
John D. Rockefeller was the founder of Standard Oil Company and revolutionized the oil industry through his efforts in modernizing equipment and opening new shipping methods.
He also is know for his philanthropy and in a way revoluionized the business of raising money for non-profit organizations.
