Snowy Christmas Eve Postcard
This reprint of an Andrew Melrose painting of Christmas Eve in the early 1900s shows the sun setting on a snowy country road. Snow covered homes can be seen along the road that winds past the local Church and over a bridge with icing creek below.
People are arriving at Church on foot or in in horse drawn sleighs. The lights shine out from the church, inviting everyone in to celebrate Christmas.
This nostalgic Christmas Eve scene is very beautiful and restful.
