Many of the vintage Easter postcards from the early 1900s show eggs with little baby chicks popping out. This postcard is another example as we see the very adorable Chicks emerging from the blue Easter egg just in time for Easter and Spring.
Surrounded by a flowered egg shell with ribbons, this Blue Egg and Chicks is a great postcard for the beginnings of Springtime that Easter always suggests.
The hatching of the baby chicks out of the shell, also suggests the spiritual rebirth of Easter.
